About the Company
Blackout Motor Freight is a driver-oriented freight carrier based out of Casco, Michigan. We are looking for owner operators who want to be home every weekend but still reap the rewards of an over-the-road driver. For those who love driving but don’t like the sedentary lifestyle that often comes with trucking, flatbed is a great solution.
We specialize in hauling freight that requires an open deck flatbed trailer. BMF also provides power only services to clients that supply trailers with pre-loaded freight. Our drivers hold a Class-A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). A typical week for BMF drivers will consist of delivery of 4-5 loads with an average daily length of haul between 100 and 500 miles. BMF is primarily a Mid-West regional carrier, meaning that drivers get home on weekends. With a percentage pay structure, you don’t need to rely on driving a lot of miles to make great pay.
Common freight that our drivers haul are items such as heavy machinery, metal, lumber, pipe and other building materials that must be hauled on an open flatbed trailer. Drivers are required to secure the loads onto the trailers and some loads may require tarping.
